Jazz, Arts & Blues Festival

The Third Annual Jazz, Arts and Blues Festival is set for October 21 and 22. Held in historic Live Oak, Florida the festival features an exclusive music lineup and artist exhibits as well as food and beverage vendors. Thousands of music lovers from North Florida and South Georgia gather to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and exquisite arts. This year’s event plans to draw an even larger crowd with local residents and visitors. With a beautiful downtown park setting and cool fall temperatures, we invite you to an unforgettable music experience. Bring your family, friends and, in true festival-style, a picnic blanket!  Two-day general admission is free, VIP seating is available.

Keith Mixon

Chairman

Keith is a real estate broker and has served as a city counselor for 12 years. Keith is the present City Council President and serves as the Chairman of the Community Redevelopment Agency.

Anda Chance

Art Director

Anda’s work can be seen in galleries and art exhibitions in the Central and North Florida area.  She has received recognition for her work in watercolors and colored pencil.   Anda has received commissions for public projects, publications and from art patrons.

Katherine Haney

Art Director

Katherine is an artist and graphic designer based in Live Oak, FL.  Katherine received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Florida in 2014. She is now the Executive Director of the Suwannee Education Foundation.

Rachel Nicholson

Committee Member

Rachel Nicholson currently serves as the Branch Manager and AVP for Ameris Bank, where superior customer service meets financial expertise. Before managing the local Live Oak Florida branch she was an Assistant Manager for Bank of America and worked in Loan Operations for United Community Bank. Giving her a combined 11 years in retail banking and lending. She is passionate about giving personalized service to her customers, helping them achieve their financial goals and developing other colleagues to do the same.

Jimmy Norris

Committee Member

Jimmy Norris has lived in Suwannee County for almost 20 years. In 2000, Norris followed his dream of becoming a building contractor and started his own company, Southern Heritage Builders, Inc.  Since that time, he has been involved in all types of construction projects in both the private and public sector.

Today, Norris serves as the executive director of the Suwannee County Chamber of Commerce and the Suwannee County Tourist Development Council, where he uses his business background and passion for volunteerism to serve his community.
